The basic loop is simple:
- The GM describes a situation, scene, or challenge.
- You describe what your character does.
- If the outcome is uncertain, you roll dice — five six-sided dice (5d6).
- The result tells everyone what happens. The GM narrates the outcome with you.
That's it. Most of the rules below are details that fill out how this loop works.
You don't need to memorize the rules to play. You need to know how to make a character, how to read a roll, and what your particular character can do. The GM handles everything else.
